Bangalore: Governor, CM Greet Archbishop Moras on 71st Birthday

Bangalore, Aug 10: Karnataka Governor Hans Raj Bhardwaj and Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar were among the several prominent leaders, senior Government officials as well as political leaders and lay people besides religious priests and sisters who greeted Bangalore Archbishop Dr Bernard Moras on his 71st birthday.

Bangalore central MP P C Mohan, Congress leaders R Roshan Baig and K J George, City Police Commissioner Jyothi Prakash Mirji and several other prominent personalities wished the Archbishop.

The Archbishop, who is also the president of the Karnataka Region Bishops’ Council, launched a new ASHA Children Sponsorship Programme to help in the education of poor children.
