Udupi, Aug 13: Uchila Hidayathulla Abbas, key donor of newly built Jamia Masjid, was honoured during the inauguration of the Masjid here on Friday August 10.
T S Budan Basha, president of the Jamia Masjid Committee, honoured Hidayathulla Abbas for his immense contribution towards the mosque.
“Uchila Hidayathulla Abbas, a businessman by profession, has contributed over Rs 3 crore towards the Masjid” said Basha.
He said that the total cost of the mosque was Rs 4 crore and the key donor had contributed majority of the share; while rest of the cost was put in by the Mosque fund.
