Kundapur: Robbers Break into Elderly Woman’s House

Kundapur, Aug 14: An elderly woman’s house was robbed on Tuesday August 14.

The house belonged to 76-year-old Indiramma who lived alone. She owns 75 cents of land which includes her house.

The incident occurred when Indiramma left to her mother’s house on Saturday night to attend a puja. When she returned home on Tuesday morning Indramma found the door and cupboard opened. She said that coins worth Rs 1000 were stolen. She was looked after by her daughter residing in Karkala while her sons have been negligent.

She has complained that someone who knows the value of the property and close to the family is upto such wrong doings so that she vacates the property in fear.

A complaint has been registered at Kundapur police station. Enquiry is on.
