Mangalore, Aug 17: "Recent survey and study report reveals that only 10% of the engineering graduates gain skills, rest fail to meet the employment criteria, owing to lack of suitable training facilities which is alarming", opined Rotary Dist Governor Rtn Dr B Devdas Rai.

He was addressing the final year engineering students after inaugurating the ‘How to Face College Campus Interviews? - HR Round’ organized by the Campus Interview Training Solutions jointly with Rotary Club of Mangalore Central on Wednesday August 15 at Hotel Moti Mahal, Mangalore.

“The students should develop confidence and competence for enhanced performance. Therefore, it is imperative that the students should attend this type of training session to gain skills and engage themselves to face the campus interview”, he added.
 
President of Rotary Club of Mangalore Central Rtn Dr Sureshchandra Shetty in his address revealed that, the training workshop has been organized as a part of the vocational service project activities and urged the students to face the challenges and keep pace with the emerging trends.
 
Eminent advocate and vice-chairman of Karnataka State Bar Council Adv P P  Hegde advised the students to develop leadership skills to achieve success in their career.
 
Executive Director of CITS Rtn Er G Ananth Prabhu in his welcome address revealed the aims and objectives of their training workshop and appealed them to gain maximum benefit from the session.
 
Experts in the technical field took part in the deliberations. Around 350 students from 17 engineering colleges of undivided Dakshina Kannada District attended and actively participated in this interactive session. Director of CITS Raghavendra Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
