Kundapur : Catholic Sabha Conducts Talk on Right to Information Act

Kundapur, Aug 22: Catholic Sabha Kundapur var-ado committee organized a programme on Right To Information Act in St Mary's P U College Hall.

Well known Lawyer and notary  Tallur Balkrishna Shetty(T B Shetty)  delivered a talk on Right To Information Act which has been implemented by the Central Government in 2005. He announced that the  people of India can avail this Act as a weapon to fight against corruption. Because of this act many ministers and bureaucrats are behind the bars today. It is our responsibility today learn about this RTI act and make use of it, he advised.

 

Catholic Sabha Kundapur varado Committee President Precilla Menezes, presided over the function and welcomed all. President designate Vinod Crasto introduced T B Shetty to the audience. Secretary Flyvan Dsouza delivered the vote of thanks.Varado Committee immediate past president  Alwyn Quadras  and treasurer  Shanthi Pereira were present on the Dais.

For highest family membership which was achieved by the  Gangoli Unit, the president and its members were also honored.
