Mangalore, Aug 22: Ashakiran Trust distributed scholarships to the PUC and other students keen to pursue higher education, here at Alankar Holy Rosary Church hall on Sunday August 19.
Alangar priest Fr Basil Vas presided over the programme.
Chief trustee, John Mascharenas Bejai and Ronald Fernandes Siddakatte distributed the scholarship cheques. They urged the students to become responsible citizens and to achieve prosperity.
Bharatiya Yuva Sanchalana, Alangar, provided facilities for the smooth working of the programme.
ICYM president Prashanth Pereira and resource person Fr Alwyn D'Souza , Edward Serrao were present on the dais.
ICYM secretary Fiona delivered the vote of thanks. Eric Lobo compered the programme.
