Bangalore, Aug 22: The recently nominated BJP MLC, M D Laxminarayana, was sworn in as member of the Karnataka Legislative Council on Wednesday.
The Council Chairman D H Shankaramurthy administered the oath to Laxminarayana.
Incidentally, the Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, who had recently appointed the BJP MLA, Shankar Patil Munenkoppa took oath as his Political Secretary was administered oath of office at the Banquet Hall of the State Secretariat in the presence of a large number of his supporters.
Ministers C M Udasi, Murugesh Nirani and BJP leaders were present when both leaders took oaths.
