Bhatkal: Free Dental Check-up Camp Conducted at Government Hospital

Bhatkal, Aug 27: A free dental check-up camp was conducted by A B Shetty Memorial Institute of  Dental Sciences under the aegis of Rotary club Bhatkal, Rafaat Agency Bhatkal, R V Memorial Trust Haliyal, Parshuraam Sports Club Bhatkal and Uttar Kannada Grameen Yojana, here on Sunday August 26 at 10 am.

MLA J D Naik in his inaugural address said that the poor people should make use of the camp.

Janab S M Syed Khaleel Ul Rahman, president of Anjuman Hami e Muslimeen, said that only the BPL card holders are eligible for the free check-up camp and the organizers should inform all the BPL card holders before setting up the camps so that the poor people can make best use of these camps. He further said that the Bhatkal community should organize a four day camp for cancer and heart check-up so that complete treatment for patients can be ensured. “This is my next plan”, he said.

Muzzamil Kazia (Majlis Eislah o Tanzeem president), Sadullah Damda (Rotary club president), Nazeer Kashimji (member of Rotary club), Krishna Naik, Rajesh Naik, Nisaar Ruknaddin and others were present on the stage.

A team of 30 doctors led by Dr Vijaya Lakshmi from A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences were present at the camp.
