Kuwait, Aug 28: After the success of “Dhoom Machale" with the dance India dance fame choreographer Terence Lewis, Indian Youth Society-Kuwait will be presenting "Singing Superstar" an event to show the singing talent of Indians in Kuwait in presence of the one of the best singing judge of Bollywood.
The Indian Youth Society was established by the initiative of a bunch of young Indians with the purpose of creating a youth revolution. The society has been successful in amassing wide popularity amongst the youth of Kuwait and in spreading the Indian Culture amongst the people of Kuwait.
The IYS team is working with a vision of providing social & cultural work with quality entertainment for the Indian community.
The registration for the audition will opens on September 1. The last date for registration will be on September 12.
The competition will be held in three age categories as juniors (8 years to 14 yrs), seniors (15yrs to 20yrs) and super senior (21yrs and above) separately, in two stages. A preliminary round auditioned anonymously by a local preliminary judging panel of Kuwait and 6 singers (male/female) will be selected for finals from each category.
Finals for the chosen 18 will be held in Kuwait for which judging panel will be celebrities from India. Anyone aged above 8 yrs can be registered for the competition.
The audition will be on September 15 at Carmel School, Khaitan. The selected best singers will be performing live in finals in presence of the Bollywood singer judge on September 27 at KMA Auditorium, Jabriya, Kuwait.
The main attraction of the competition and the show is that the participants can perform in any possible language.
