Mumbai: Sri Mookambika Devi Temple Awaits Renovation, Committee Set Up

Mumbai, September 12: The renovation committee meeting of Sri Mookambika temple was held at Pathidaar hall in Shahad (East), Thane district on Sunday September 8.

Sri Vidyadeesh Theertha Swamiji of Palimar matt flagged off the meeting by lighting a lamp.

In his address, Swamiji said that goddess Mookambika through her blessings has nurtured the life of many devotees. She is the inspiration for human life and the temple works which you people have undertaken is meaningful, he added.

I wish all the works undertaken works out smoothly without any barrier, he said.

Anni C Shetty, trustee of Sri Mookambika temple in Gansoli also spoke on the occasion.

Aikala Harish Shetty, vice president of Vishwa Buntara Okkuta, Shankar B Shetty, president of Bunts Sangh, Dharmapal U Devadiga, president of Akhila Bharatha Tulu Okkuta, Ramu Shet Hebbali, chairman of Sharada Manjunath builders, Bhaskar Shetty CBD, president of Sadguru Nithyanand Seva Sangh, Santhosh M Shetty, Ratnakar Shetty Mundkur, working president of Mathraboomi cooperative credit society were the main guests.

As part of religious programme, Bajans were sung by Sri Ayyapa Bajana Mandali under the guidance of Chandrahaas Rai. Sri Mahavishnu Krupa Bunta Yaksha Kalavedike performed ‘Shabhavi Vijay’ Yakshagana sponsored by Kushala P Shetty. Food was also served after the programme which was sponsored by Sadashiv G Suvarna and Yuvraj K Poojary.

Dayashankar P Shetty, renovation committee president welcomed the gathering, Mohan Rai compered and Renjala Gopal S Hegde, vice president delivered the vote of thanks.

Taalipaadiguttu Chandrahaas N Shetty, convenor, Kottarimane Pangla Chandrakanth S Shetty, Shivapura Krishna G Poojaty, Balkunje Muddu K Kotian, honorary secretary, Kankanady Monappa Poojary, honorary treasurer, Yuvraj R Suvarna, joint secretary, Manmath S Shetty, joint treasurer, Harish Shetty, Srikanth S Poojary, Rammanna J Shetty, Narayan C Mendon Kalyan, Gopal Padmashali among others were present.
