Mumbai: Palimaru (Udupi) Mutt Branch to be Unveiled at Mira Road

Mumbai, Sep 14:
Palimaru Mutt pontiff Shree Vidyadeesha Theertha Swamiji said that the branch of the Udupi Palimaru Mutt  and Balaji Shreenivas Mandir will be unveiled in Geethanagar, Mira Road East here on September 16 at 4 pm.
 
B R Shetty, NRI entrepreneur will inaugurate the Mumbai branch of the mutt. Catheline Pereira, president of Meera Bayandar City Corporation will be the chief guest.

MP Dr Sanjeeva Ganesh Nayak, MLA and NCP leader Gilbert Mendonsa, MLA Gopal C Shetty, MLA Prathap Sir Nayak, MBMP commissioner Vikram Kumar, Nerendra Mehtha, Kanchan Poojari, MLC Muzhafer Hussein, Hithendra Takoor, Jaya C Suvarna, Prakash B Bhandary, Thonse Jayakrishna A Shetty, Chandrashekar Paletthady, Rons Bantwal, will be present at the occasion.
 
On Monday September 17 from 4.30pm onwards, Naga Darshana and Ashlesha Bali rituals will be held under the guidance of Sagri Gopalkrishna Samaga.

Harikatha Pravachana will be held on Tuesday 6pm onwards. Special pooja programmes will be held on Wednesday.
 
After the inauguration of the branch, prasadam will be distributed.

The new branch of the Mutt gives a platform for conducting religious and social programmes for the nonresident tuluvas in Mumbai, informed Kadekar Shreesha Bhat, director of the branch.
