Moscow, Oct 9 (IANS/RIA Novosti): A miner injured in a coal mine collapse in Russia has died in hospital, officials said.
The emergencies department in the southern region of Rostov said the miner was trapped for approximately two hours before being rescued.
He was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
The mine, in Gukovo town, and with capacity of 600,000 tonnes of coal a year, was put into operation in 1958.
