Cong MP Flashes Gun to Avoid Paying Toll, Caught on Camera

Vadodara, Oct 12 (PTI):
Congress Lok Sabha MP from Porbandar Vitthal Radadia has landed in a soup after being caught on camera brandishing a gun to threaten the employees of a toll plaza who dared him to show his identity card before waiving payment.

Radadia, apparently enraged at the temerity of the toll plaza attendant, who asked for the original I-card after his driver had shown a photocopy, was seen on national TV menacingly flashing his gun while stalking the area in front of the booth and repeatedly tapping the glass enclosure with the barrel.

The incident that happened near Karjan on National Highway 8 on the intervening night of October 10-11, was caught on CCTV cameras installed outside the toll plaza.

Radadia, considered a 'strongman' in the Saurashtra region, had recently helped the party organise a massive farmers rally in Rajkot.

Incidentally, Porbandar is the birth place of the Father of the Nation and apostle of peace Mahatma Gandhi.

The CCTV footage has been provided to Vadodara rural police which is in the process of filing of an FIR based on the complaint by the manager of the private company collecting toll tax.

"We have received CCTV footage and have identified car number as GJ 3 445. We are trying to identify the persons involved in it," Deputy Superintendent of Police Usha Rada said.

In his complaint, the manager has said the driver and occupants of the car had threatened to kill him and other employees. He said one of the occupants took out a gun and created terror, saying they would not pay road toll tax as the car belonged to an MP.

"After registering an FIR we will start investigation about the occupants of the car and ensure justice is done to the victims," Rada said.

Radadia, however, defended his action, saying he was surrounded by about 15 people carrying sticks after he told the plaza manager that as an MP he was exempt from paying the toll.

"15 people surrounded us, saying the identity card shown by my driver was bogus, that I am a bogus MP. As an MP I too have some prestige. I took out my licenced gun for my safety," Radadia said.

Asked why did he not inform the police instead of taking the law into his hands, he shot back, saying,"Who would have provided me security on the highway?"

In our country MLAs and MPs are forget that they were the servants of the people. They show their roudism in public places, tollnaka, and even in temples. This kind of MP should removed from party so that they cannot claim their rights as a MP. Easily make false eligations on toll employees to defend himself, people know everything and due to peoplepower you became MP.Better you be a servant for people.Otherwise they show you your exact possition,no matter which party you belongs to be!

Only educating the masses can save our country. Otherwise, electing goons and goondas as representatives will become perpetual. It's shameful that a rising country is managed by crooks and corrupt politicians.

Wake up and elect only good people without regard to party.

Three congressmen upholding the ‘Saidhanthika” party’s principles and taking it to new high on the same day. 19 rape cases”reported in Haryana in one month Congress leader in Haryana Digambar Goyat says that most of the over 15 rapes reported in the state in the past month were "consensual” & the chief minister says marry of girls at as early as possible in order to avoid rape & this Congress Lok Sabha MP from Porbandar Vitthal Radadia brandish ‘s a gun to threaten the employees of a toll plaza who dared him to show his identity card before waiving payment who were just doing his duty. The most funny part is that the Youth Icon is in complaining law & order situation of Punjab & and asking youth to come and join politics to cleanse it.
I am just imagining, if under Narendra Modi’s rule this congi(Vittala) jumps so much, imagine what will happen to Gujrat if Congress ever comes back to power !!!

I am a congress supporter but not a criminal and a foolish congress supporter. If a law maker takes the law in hand may be he is out of his mind. All political parties are run in intimidating or terrorizing businessmen.

This congress MP must be in Jail without bail.

In my opinion the toll gate personnel also might have misbehaved with the MP which cannot be ruled out.
Congress Gujrathi MP is wielding the gun only but the Gujrathi Chief Minister Mr. N. Modi gives free hand for human butchery.
THE BIRTH PLACE OF THE APOSTLE OF PEACE MAHATHMA GANDHI'S STATE IS DEFILED BY THE BJP THROUGH BUTCHERY, TERRORISM & DICTATORSHIP.

    No surprise from this.

This is a typical "CONGRESS MEN" behavior. 90% congis are like this only. Even Sonia, Rahul, Vadra are like this only.

By threatening judges, they came out clean from scandals, scams.

From terrorism supporters, you expect terrorism only. You can't expect peace and love from congis.
