Probe Vadra's Business Dealings: CPI-M

New Delhi, Oct 15 (IANS): The CPI-M Monday demanded an enquiry into the business dealings of Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra and his links with realty major DLF.

An "enquiry should be conducted by the relevant authorities into the business dealings of Vadra", the Communist Party of India-Marxist said in a statement.

"His companies and its links with DLF and the nexus with the Haryana government should be probed and action taken if there is any wrongdoing," it said.

India Against Corruption has accused DLF of selling property at below market rates to Vadra in return for official favours in Haryana. DLF and the Haryana government have denied the charges.

The statement added that the UPA government and the Congress leadership
were engulfed in corruption scandals "one after the other. There is no sector in which corruption and loot of resources is not going on".
