Terror Suspect Fasih Deported from Saudi Arabia, Arrested in Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 22 (PTI): Fasih Mohammed, a suspected Indian Mujahideen operator and a key accused in the Delhi and Bangalore blasts, was today arrested after he was deported from Saudi Arabia.

28-year-old Fasih, after being in detention for five months in Saudi Arabia, was taken into custody from Delhi airport on his arrival from the Gulf, official sources said.

India had sought deportation of Fasih from Saudi Arabia and also got an Interpol Red Corner notice issued against him.

An engineer and believed to be a member of the banned outfit Indian Mujahideen, Bihar-born Fasih is alleged to have been involved in the Chinnaswamy Stadium blast in Bangalore and the shooting near Jama Masjid (Delhi), both in 2010, and is wanted by Delhi and Karnataka police.

His name cropped up during the interrogation of suspected IM terrorists arrested during the last nine months.

While the Saudi authorities confirmed his detention there, they conveyed that they were closely examining his role and stay in that country.

Fasih's wife Nikhat Parveen had approached the Supreme Court claiming that her husband was in the custody of central security agencies, a charge denied by the Government.

Islam not teaches the lesson of terrorist, but some mind poisoners taking the advantage to poisoning the mind of highly qualified people. So my humble request from the educationist ONLY OBEY THE TEACHING OF ALLAH AND HIS BELOVED PROPHET (S A) so that you cannot move the wrong path which is destroying our life, wife and family by going behind the bars for ever.

    @ Ashok Udipi
    Tend to agree.
Clickers should elaborate on why they 'disagree' on such sensitive matters.A dangerous tendency, this hiding behind the 'disagree button' with no face and argument to show. Here extradition from SA in itself is 'high proof' and an
'Interpol Red Corner' notice served is not a Highest Civilian Award' in any case.Agreeing and Disagreeing is okay in any matter but when it comes to National Security nothing else repeat nothing else should be given importance or credence. Our country comes first, everything else follows.

What is the use of catching them? The dreaded terrorist Ajmal Kasab is enjoying in jail and goverment is spending crores of rupees on him. Tax payers money is wasted for well being and security of these terrorists. Some parts of India there is no water and electricity. Government can spend this money for the development. I sincerely request Daiji to take initiative and write to Central Government law ministry to take action immediately on these terrorists. Our law minister is in trouble now and he is into illegal matters like threatening Kejriwal and his supporters. God save our India.

mango people of India don't expect any justice as track record of CONGRESS is to treat them as guests with all facilities for a royal guests . Even if Court them guilty and announce DEATH, Congress will ensure that court instructions are not implemented or are delayed on some other pretext .. After all VOTES are more important than SECURITY of NATION ..
