Los Angeles, Oct 25 (IANS): Actress Eva Longoria and footballer Mark Sanchez have ended their brief romance.

Sanchez's representative told US Weekly magazine: "Mark adores and respects Eva. It really was about scheduling more than anything else. They will remain close friends."

Meanwhile Longoria's representative also confirmed the news.

"The two have officially called it quits after several months of dating."

Longoria revealed her relationship with Sanchez last month during a chat show "Extra".
