Fifth Accused in Pune Blast Arrested


New Delhi, Oct 26 (IANS): A suspected Indian Mujahideen (IM) operative and the fifth accused in the Aug 1 Pune blast, was arrested by Delhi Police's Special Cell from Hyderabad, an official said Friday. Four other accused were arrested earlier.

Sayed Maqbool alias Zuber, 35, resident of Nanded (Maharashtra), was arrested Oct 23 from his hideout in the Andhra Pradesh capital.

The other accused - Asad Khan, 33, and Imran Khan, 31 - were arrested from south Delhi Sep 26, Sayed Feroz alias Hamza, 38, was arrested Oct 1 from the Nizamuddin Railway Station, and Langda Irfan Mustafa, 30, was arrested in Jaipur Oct 10, police said.
