Dikshit assures all colonies will be regularised

New Delhi, Oct 27 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Saturday said the government would strive to ensure that all unauthorised colonies in the city get a permanent tag.

She said the government had been working in the direction of fulfilling the aspirations of people, a statement said.

Nobody in the capital would "see bulldozers in action", Dikshit said.

The government Sep 5 issued a notification regularising 895 unauthorised colonies out of the 1,639 such settlements which are home to over 40 lakh residents and constitute a major vote bank.

Earlier Delhi govt. regularised 895 colonies instead of 1639. My question is this rest of colonies are still for regularisation. When these colonies get clean chit from Govt. side.
