Kundapur, Nov 2: A 58-year-old was killed when the two-wheeler he was riding skid near Basrur here on Friday November 2 at around 9 pm.
The deceased has been identified as Jayaram Shetty (58), resident of Kalavara, Katkere.
The accident occured when Jayaram was on his way home when his bike skid near Basrur cross road and he fell. A lorry which was behind the bike hit him, killing him on the spot.
Jayaram was employed as manager of Hotel Shivprasad, Kundapur, since many years.
A case has been registered in Kundapur police station.
