Mangalore: Student Council Installed at A J Institute of Management

Mangalore, Nov 3: A J Institute of Management, a unit of Laxmi Memorial Education Trust inaugurated the 14th MBA batch and students council for the year 2012-2013.

The chief guest for the program Mohammed Ameed, president of Kanara Chamber of Commerce, Mangalore in his inaugural speech stressed on the imoortance of student council activities in a management environment.

He said that it builds up competence in the students and gives them a sense of courage which will help them develop their personality also.

Prashanth Shetty, vice president of Laxmi Memorial Education Trust, urged the students to participate in all the college activities.

The presidential address was remarked over by Dr T Jayaprakash Rao, director of A J Institue of Management.

‘AJIM Expressions…’ a quarterly web based news bulletin was also released on this occasion.

Dr Govinda Bhat, professor presented the prelude on the news bulletin.

Deepak Rao welcomed the audience and Meenakshi Rao, student council advisor administered the oath for the new office bearers.

Sabari Vinayak and Reethashree compered the programme while Sourabh, student council executive, proposed the vote of thanks.
