Multinational Firm sets up Shop in Cherthala Infopark

Kochi, Nov 5 (IANS): Columbia-based Comaxiam IT Solutions Monday began operations at the Cherthala campus of Infopark.

The Cherthala campus, about 30 km from Kochi and nearly 170 km from the state capital, is the Tier II development model of the Kochi-headquartered Infopark campus, which is opening up in smaller towns in and around the main campus.

Headquartered in Columbia, US, Comaxiam IT Solutions, LLC, has offices in the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Dubai and the Bahrain.

The company offers a range of services including marketing, design, software, full-service branding, graphic design, electronic communication and customised software to clients who operate in a range of sectors around the globe.

"Infopark is the best place we ever got support to set up an offshore centre. Infopark provides wonderful facilities," said Comaxiam IT Solutions CEO, Ajeesh Thomas.

Infopark-Cherthala campus has been receiving enquiries from ITES companies since its inception, mainly due to the availability of state-of-the-art facilities at low prices.

Comaxiam is the fourth company to start its operations from the new campus.

"The expansion of Infopark-Cherthala shows that the acceptance of IT parks in tier II towns of Kerala is high. The park is poised for excellent growth," said Infopark CEO Gigo Joseph.
