Mangalore: Red FM's First-of-its-kind Live Studio Ratha Flagged Off

Mangalore, Nov 9: ‘Red Ratha’ by Red FM 93.5, the experience of live studio on wheels in the streets of the city, was inaugurated at Inland Avenue here on Friday November 9.

Siraj Ahmed, managing director of Inland Builders flagged off the Red Ratha while Ashok of LG Electronics inaugurated the live studio.

Red Ratha which is a mobile studio is the first of its kind in the city. The vehicle will travel to various hotspots across the city covering around a distance of 30 km in nine days, with RJs hosting the morning and evening shows live from the location.

Speaking to Daijiworld, Yashraj, programme manager said that the people of the city will get a clear cut idea and a feel of how the studio works. This is a first of its kind in the city where people can get to see their favourite RJs.

He further said the Red Ratha will move around the city for nine days starting from Friday and culminating on November 17. "Fun activities and attractive gifts will add a new dimension to this Red Ratha," he added.

Speaking about the Red Concept, he said the morning show (7 am to 11 am) ‘Namaskara Mangalore’ will be hosted by RJ Nagaraj and the evening show (5 pm to 9 pm) ‘Bindas Bajaysi’ will be hosted by RJ Varun. They will be supported by RJ Prasanna and RJ Deepak.

The team consists of technical staff Riju, sound engineer Sujith, station head Raghav and others.

Miraj Yusuf from Inland builders, Charan Suvarna from Volkswagen were present.


Ratha Itinerary:

Day One – KSRTC Junction, Kadri Park

Day Two – St Aloysius College, Light House Hill and Thokottu Junction

Day Three – Juice Junction Balmatta and St Agnes College, Bendorewell

Day Four – State Bank Circle and Suratkal

Day Five – Canara College MG Road and University College, Hampankatta

Day Six – Pumpwell Circle and Panambur beach

Day Seven – Roshni Nilaya College and Mangaladevi Temple

Day Eight – Shri Gokarnatheshwara Temple Kudroli and Temple Square

Day Nine – Kavoor and Kankanady Circle
