Udupi: Truck Collides with Auto Rickshaws - One Critical

Udupi, Nov 9: A speeding truck (407) collided with two rickshaws near at Shyamili Hall at Ambalapadi here on Friday, November 9.

The two auto rickshaws were said to be heading towards Karavali bypass from Ambalapadi.

The accident took place when the truck driver tried to overtake the two rickshaws.

The driver of one of the rickshaws is said to be critical and admitted to the nearby Hi-Tech Hospital, while the driver of the other rickshaw escaped with minor injuries.

The auto rickshaws were badly damaged.

A case has been registered at Udupi city police station.
