Mangalore, Nov 11: The parish feast of St Lawrence Church, Bondel was celebrated with much reverence on Sunday November 11.

The festal Eucharistic celebration was presided by Fr Pius D’Souza, OCD Episcopal Vicar for the Religious.

The blessed candles were presented to the sponsors of parish feast before the Holy Mass. The Eucharistic Mass was con-celebrated by priests from the deanery and nearby parishes.

The parish units of YCS and ICYM put up various stalls in the parish grounds and were thronged by people after the Holy Mass.

Parish council vice-president Rudy Pinto, secretary Reginald D’Souza, council members and leaders of parish organizations took the leadership of overall arrangements under the guidance of parish priest Fr Andrew D’Souza and assistant parish priest Fr Patrick Sequeira.

Thousands of devotees regardless of caste, creed and religion attended the annual parish feast.
