Xi Named Chairman of CPC Central Military Commission

Beijing, Nov 15 (IANS): Xi Jinping was Thursday named chairman of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Military Commission at the first plenary session of the 18th CPC Central Committee.

Fan Changlong and Xu Qiliang were named vice chairmen of the CPC Central Military Commission, reported Xinhua.
