Udupi: Brain Quest Science Contest to be Held on November 17

Udupi, Nov 16: “The tenth annual district science and technology fair cum competition ‘Brain Quest-2012’ will be held at Sheshashyana hall on Saturday November 17”, said e-skool director, Dr Poornima Kamath at a press meet held in Press Club on Friday November 16.

The inaugural programme and technology exhibition will be held from 9 am to 1 pm.

Various competitions such as science model display, house of card games, paper quest, research quest and puzzle solving will be held.

Another attraction of the programme is ‘The great recession of America and what should we learn from it’ will be explained using animatronics models.

On Friday November 16, a demo of robotic cat, binocular which shows all objects upside down, wind machine which produces light, James Bond wireless system for kids, a signal detector and four characters, animatronics models from recession was displayed.

1.    A girl (Samantha) who lost her parents and though she had chocolate in her hand she was crying.
2.    A man paranoid and drug addict, ready to slap everyone who goes near him.
3.    A man (Francis) who was struggling to get up from the chair.
4.    A man was thing about another idea to get loan after recession.

Exhibition will be open for public display after 2 pm. The award ceremony will be held at 5 pm.
