Abu Dhabi, Nov 18 : Laxmi pooja, soulful bhajans and busting of crackers marked grand celebrations of Deepavali, the festival of lights by members of Abu Dhabi Billawara Balaga at Nihal Restaurant hall on November 14.
Members dressed with colorful outfits gathered in large numbers for the celebration of Deepavali. Celebration began with Laxmi pooja by Hari Bhat from Dubai. Couple Purnima and Manohar Tonse sat for the Pooja who represented Billawara Balaga for offering oblations. Dinesh and his Team lent good support by singing soulful bhajans numbers for Goddess of fortune, Laxmi and Lord Krishna.
Mantapa for Goddess Laxmi, floral decoration and illuminating lights were appreciated by one and all. Each couple and members participated in the Mangala Arthi followed by Prasada and Panaka. Thereafter, Harivana prasada was distributed to the devotees. Children overjoyed by busting of crackers and in the end Deepavali dinner was served to all. Priest prayed for good health, wealth and prosperity for all those who were present in the celebration.
Pradeep Kirodian, Suresh Salian, Nitin, Kutty Poojary, Kishor Kotian, Suresh, Shankar Amin, Pravin Bolur and Bharathraj Amin supported the whole program.
