BJP to Decide on No-trust Move after NDA Meet

New Delhi, Nov 20 (IANS): Ahead of the winter session of parliament, top leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) met in the national capital Tuesday morning to discuss strategies, including the Trinamool Congress' move to bring a no-confidence motion against the government.

Party leaders did not disclose the BJP's decision, saying that a final call would be taken after meeting with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Tuesday evening.

"We discussed the party strategy for the coming session and several other issues. We will disclose our strategy for the winter session only after a discussion in the NDA meeting," BJP leader Ravishankar Prasad said.

NDA leaders will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The BJP parliamentary party also paid tributes to Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray, who died Nov 17, BJP leader Kailashpati Mishra who passed away Nov 3, and former defence minister K.C. Panth, who passed away Nov 15.

Condolences were also offered to the families of the victims of the stampede at a temple during Chhath puja in Patna Monday night.
