Kundapur: Three Injured in Auto-Tata Ace Accident at Koteshwar

Kundapur, Nov 27: Three persons were injured, one of them seriously, when an auto rickshaw and a Tata Ace collided head-on at Koteshwar here on Monday November 26.

The injured have been identified as auto rickshaw driver Jayram (30), a resident of Katkere, Gurudeep and Satish (25) who were passengers in his auto. Gurudeep is a 9th standard student of Junior College, Koteshwar. Both he and Satish are residents of Koteshwar.

Jayram was ferrying them to Murugan Bakery in Koteshwar road when the accident took place.

Among them, Jayram is said to have sustained serious injuries. After initial treatment, he was shifted to Manipal hospital.

A case has registered in the Kundapur police station.
