Bantwal: Car Driver Injured in Serial Accident

Bantwal, Nov 27: In a series of collisions between a car, bus and a lorry on the national highway near BC Road, the driver of the car was injured after the car rolled off the road here on Monday November 26.

The injured person has been identified as Gautham (23), resident of Bolar. He was immediately rushed to a hospital in Mangalore. The car belongs to his friend from Ullal.

An eyewitness said that the speeding car, while trying to overtake a lorry, swerved suddenly to avoid hitting another vehicle approaching from the front. The driver of the car lost control and the car rolled off the road. Meanwhile a bus which was behind the car hit the lorry.

A case has been registered in Bantwal city police station.
