Moodbidri: College Student Absconds, Goes Missing

Moodbidri, Nov 27: A college student went missing from his hostel since Sunday November 25.
The missing boy has been identified as Parashuram (17) son of Laxman from Bagalkote. He was a second year PUC student at Alva’s College.
As per the information received, the boy left the hostel at Vishalnagar along with his friends on Sunday evening, stating that he is going to watch Deepavali celebrations at his college and never returned back.
Sources said that, Parashuram had been to college along with his friends to watch the programme, but later he escaped from there and went to Udupi. He then called his parents stating that he is not interested to go to college and soon he disconnected the call.
His parents then contacted the hostel warden and gave the details, after which the missing news came to light.
A case has been registered by the hostel warden Bhaskar at Moodubidri police station.
