Puttur, Nov 30: A spotted deer was killed in a road accident, after it was hit by a motorcyclist near Balya in Kadaba on Thursday November 29 evening.
As per the information received, the deer was hit by the motorcycle as it sprinted across the road resulting in its death.
The incident took place when the riders Joseph and Neelaya Karnad were going home from Kadaba.
As they approached close to the Balya Shri Umamaheshwari temple, the incident took place as a result of which the bike was thrown off the road. The riders of the bike are said to be injured.
They were immediately rushed to a hospital by the locals.
