Udupi, Dec 3: A mega health check-up camp was held at Devadigara Sabha Bhavana, Hiryadka on Saturday, December 1, in association with Navodaya Grama Vikasa Charitable Trust (Reg) Kodialbail, Mangalore, Kalathoor Gurme P Suresh Shetty and Father Muller Medical College Hospital, Mangalore.
The camp was inaugurated by Devdas Kamath (Kamath Nursing Home, Hiryadka).
The president of the program was MN Rajendra Kumar (President of SCDCC Bank, Mangalore and managing trustee of Navodaya Grama Vikasa Charitable Trust).
Dr Dinesh Chandara Hegde, Bailoor (retired assistant surgeon); Kalathoor Gurme P Suresh Shetty (Industrialist, Bellary) and Fr Richard Coehlo (Administrator of Father Muller Hospital, Mangalore) were the cheif guests.
More than 11 speciality departments participated in the camp and around 1400 people attended and benefitted from the camp.
It was a successful camp held in a rural area.
