Tehran, Dec 4 (IANS): Iranian naval forces have downed a US drone over the Persian Gulf, Iranian authorities said Tuesday.
"The US drone, which in the past days flew over the general zone of Persian Gulf gathering intelligence, was ... captured as soon as it entered Iran's air," Xinhua quoted the Iranian Revolutionary Guards as saying.
The report did not say when the drone was downed.
