New Delhi, Dec 6 (IANS): It was a sunny yet nippy morning in the capital Thursday with the minimum temperature at 7.5 degrees Celsius, two notches below average for this time of the season. The Met office forecasts a chilly evening.
"The day will be bright and clear. The temperature will drop by evening and it will be chilly," an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
A light cover of mist enveloped the city early morning.
The maximum temperature is expected to be around 24 degrees Celsius, the IMD official said.
Maximum humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 66 percent.
Wednesday's both maximum and minimum temperatures were normal at 24.7 and 9 degrees Celsius respectively.
