11 Killed in China Road Accident

Beijing, Dec 10 (IANS): At least 11 passengers were killed and over 20 injured after their bus fell into a roadside pond in China's Henan province Sunday, said a government official.

The bus was headed towards the provincial capital of Zhengzhou from Shangqiu city when the accident occurred around 11 o'clock in the morning. The 23 injured passengers were in stable condition after being hospitalised, the government spokesperson told Xinhua.
