Kuwait: Buntara Sangha Hosts Fun-filled Family Picnic

Kuwait, Dec 10: Buntara Sangha Kuwait recently organized their family picnic-2012 at the KOC Ahmadi Garden.
 
The event started with the members taking part in the Kuwait national anthem followed by breakfast.

As members poured in full strength various sports and games were conducted. Kids were entertained with the track and lemon and spoon race, while the elders both gents and ladies participated in the tracks. Couple games like tracks and relay including three leg races provided the extra entertainment and thrill.

Kabbadi, Tug-of-war and Tarai-Katta were the major highlights as they were played with all vigor and to the cheers of the crowd.

A stupendous lunch was provided by Oriental Restaurant to all the members. The later part of the session had befitting enthusiastic couple game ‘Snatching the bride’ and the much awaited housie.

Individuals and teams who won were felicitated with medals and gifts as token of appreciation by the managing committee members.

President Satishchandra Shetty appreciated BSK-Diwali Mela team members for bringing in glory as they were awarded the first prize for all round performance and best stall. He further welcomed the new members and the gathering for their support and active participation. The picnic ended in high spirits with the singing of Indian national anthem.

The program was coordinated by the sports secretary Pandari S Shetty and well organized by Guruprasad Hegde, Neetu Shetty, Shalini V Shetty and Sudharshana Shetty.

    One thing I like about dis program start and end with national anthem …......its showing how much you’re respecting your country …. Good job keep it up…..chak de bunts
