Mangalore, Dec 18:
Dakhina Kannada district unit of Sri Rama Sene strongly opposed the forthcoming India, Pakistan match series, scheduled to begin from December 25.

A protest was staged in front of the DC office in the city on Monday 17. The members of the unit demanded to stop the forthcoming cricket match.

“By allowing Pakistan to play in Bangalore at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, the government is appeasing the Muslims for their vote bank. For the forthcoming cricket tournament, government will issue 3000 visas to the Pakistanis. Sri Rama Sene will strongly condemns this. If government allows Pakistan to play cricket it will face severe consequences”, said Kumar Malemar Vibhag Chanalak of Sri Rama Sene.

“In 2008, government issued visas to 2000 Pakistanis, but 137 people never returned back to Pakistan. What are the remaining 137 Pakistanis doing in India? Where did they go? Government never bothered to think over it”, he added.

Madosudhan Urvastore, district convener, Ganesh Attavar, Jeevan Nirumarga were present on the occasion.

Why there was no voice from SRI RAMA SENA during blind world cricket final between India & Pakistant recently ? May be they want to get high publicity so they wait for T-20 match...?? Come on Ram Sainik... leave this matter to our Governemnt & officials who can take care of pakis...Instead of wasting your time on road go for work and earn your food yourself. Jain Hind..

Just look at the strong pillars of our society! The protectors of our culture, country, sisters and mothers! They are also the future leaders of our country. They are also the guardians of law and order. Also they tell us what is wrong and what is right. We are blessed to have them.

Shortly you will see an office somewhere in undivided twin district with a board saying " manpower available for protests"
Most of the faces we see in pics are same only with a change of scarf color depending on the parting conducting the protest.

keeping good relations with neighbour countries are good. but is it really good wen it comes to pakistan, as we all know recent visit of malik to India and his statements were really embarassing..!!!!dnt u guys think there will be few people who looks to take revenge for Kasab's death...am sure India have to pay vry hard for this in future. we guys always criticise or blame rama sene or Congress govt whatever they do..we all need to think wat is right and wat is wrong. from my point rama sene is doin a great job by protesting this Ind-Pak cricket match..

    Santosh,

Lets say 80% people get together and fight against enemies of the nation but 20% create a parallel force and create frictions within the country. Who would you stand with ? The 80% who have common patriotism or those who have vested interests ? In this attempt even I perish by the fire raised by the 20%, I will have no regrets. I will have the fulfillment of not letting the 20% to grow further but keeping the other 80% intact.

Principally I too am not in favour with Pak team coming to India but when seeing these goons opposing it, I don't agree to being on the same side of the fence.

So much so that every genuine request appears ironical when these goons are demanding for it.

One must appreciate these elements to shoulder huge burden of national security voluntarily. I would rather suggest them to position themselves in Indo-china border and fight those Chinese intruders.......

"By allowing Pakistan to play in Bangalore at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, the government is appeasing the Muslims for their vote bank" WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES I T MAKE TO MUSLIMS OF INDIA, IF PAKISTANIS PLAY HERE/NOT PLAY HERE.

If government cancel the match, surely government's capability to controlling handful of goons will be questioned.
INDIA SHOULD BE RULED BY THE MILITARY,, THAT IS THE ONLY OPTION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE IN INDIA.

Mutallik himself know nothing is going to happen. He is trying to remain in news and get publicity. But poor people who protest without knowing the fact, blindly on the street. Again part of 90% indians.
