Japan's Industrial Output Falls


Tokyo, Dec 28 (IANS): Japan's industrial output fell a seasonally adjusted 1.7 percent in November from the previous month for the first fall in two months, according to government data released Friday.

The index of output at factories and mines stood at 86.4 against the base of 100 for 2005, said the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in a preliminary report.

The index of industrial shipments dropped 1.1 percent to 86.5 while that of inventories declined 1.2 percent to 106.4, reported Xinhua.
