Delhi Shivers at 4.8 Degrees


New Delhi, Jan 2 (IANS): Wednesday morning was chilly and foggy in the national capital with the minimum temperature at 4.8 degrees Celsius - two notches below average.

Visibility was down to 100 metres at 8.30 a.m. and humidity was at 100 percent, an India Meteorological Department official said.

The official forecast a clear day ahead with maximum temperature inching up to 14 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature on Tuesday was four degrees Celsius.
