Seven Killed in China Van Blast


Beijing, Jan 11 (IANS): At least seven people were killed and more than 20 injured Friday in an explosion in a van in China's Heilongjiang province, Xinhua reported.

The van belonging to the Zhongxing Mineral Industry Company in Shuangyashan city exploded around 6.30 a.m. in Lingdong, the Shuangyashan city government said.

It was not known how many people were in the vehicle when the blast occurred. An investigation into the cause of the explosion is underway.
