Udupi: Kidnapped Congress Member Vasudeva Adiga's Phone Found

Udupi, Jan 11: One of the two mobile phones belonging to Kota block Congress member and RTI activist Vasudeva Adiga (45) of Vandar, who was reportedly kidnapped two days ago, was found near Avarse in Goliangadi on Thursday January 10.

A worker who was working near Avarse on Goliangadi-Saibarakatte road found the mobile phone and switched it on. It is learnt that the police who were trying to call both his phones found it switched on.

The phone might have fallen when Vasudev was kidnapped and taken along this road, police informed.

"No breakthrough in this case has been made so far. Three teams of police have already been deployed and more police officers have been deputed. Investigation is on. In order to gather more information several people have been questioned. No arrests have been made so far," informed Dr Boralingayya, Udupi district police commissioner.

    No breakthrough in this case has been made so far!
    Had it been Cows or Animals, kidnappers legs would have been
    broken by now.
