CM Welcomes SC Verdict on Upa Lokayukta

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the function, the Chief Minister welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision on the Upa Lokayukta and contended that the verdict brought clarity into the matter.

The verdict, he said justified the State Government’s stance that the Governor can appoint the Lokayukta and Upa Lokayukta only on the advice tendered by the Chief Minister.

The cabinet would take a decision soon on the appointment of candidates for both offices, he said.

There are YUVAKA Mandalas AND YUVATHI Mandalas Which comes under Ministry of sports and Youth Services,Govt of Karnataka. The department has District and Taluk level officers who are coordinating with these Mandalas.Every Yuvaka Manadala in Village level provided with yearly package of sports kits and TALUK/DISTRICT and State levels Yuva Melas are taking place yearly.

Interestingly, now a days Yuvajana Melas are for the namesake and Sports and yuth Ministry even stopped to provide sports kit.All Yuvaka Mandalas in Village level should registered under Society Act and affiliated to Ministry of sports and Youth services.DUE GOVT APATHY RURAL YUVAKA/YUVATHI MANDALS ARE EITHER DEFUNCT OR IN LOW PROFILE.THEREFORE,Declaring SVY Kendra not serves the purpose unless enough resources in budget for the youth activities set aside.
