BJP to hold countrywide protest against Shinde's remarks

New Delhi, Jan 23 (IANS): The BJP will hold countrywide protests from Thursday against Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde's "Hindu terror" remarks, Rajnath Singh said after being elected as the party president Wednesday.

"The recent statement of Shinde shows the government is not serious on its fight against terrorism," Rajnath Singh said, addressing party workers here.

"Just for vote bank politics, they are poisoning the atmosphere of the nation with communalism. We condemn the statement," he said.

He said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would hold countrywide protests against Shinde's comments.

    Today USA rejects extradiction of Headley to India. Do you know why? They feel that. Headley has good friend in India as Home Minister who talks more against to Indians than Pak. Atleast HM should know what he needs to speak as HM, Otherwise whole World mock at Indian Govt for its treatment on Pak

    We all knew the intention of Shinde was not to call Hindus as terrorists.. It's BJP who twisted the whole story to get political mileage while they have no other agenda against UPA to take into the street.
    The same BJP and its saffron allies yet not hesitate calling "ISLAMIC TERROR" whenever nation encounter Muslim terror.. HYPOCRITES !!

    Why we get upset when the HM makes a statement that, BJP and RSS involved in saffron terrorism in India. He also mentioned about training camps that created Hindu youth to fight against the system in India. He being a HM definitely has inputs from IB.Based on the IB inputs he made a open statement which is the news just because 30% of this country are with BJP and its alliances.
    We all know that Pragya Sadhvi and Lt.Col.Purohit are denied bail and many are under judicial custody, under trial for more than five years.Uma Bharti along with BJP, RSS, VHP openly condemn the trials and support the culprits of Malegaon blast.
    Then where and why the HM statement is wrong?

    Aam Admi, Please let me know who responsible for Malangavu blast, Makka Masjid Blast, Ajmeer Blast, Samjoth Express Blast, all these acts carried out by R.S.S. cadre.
    If blast too place against Muslims is not Terrorism. The statement made by Honble Home Minister based on National Investigation Agency and Secrete Agency Report. Every knows THAT R.S.S sponsering Saffron Terrorism in India. So, BJP's agitation only to mockering Indian people. If BJP honest against Terrorism why not condemn R.S.S.'s extrmeist activities.

    Though I differ with BJP ideology. For this matter I will fully support your initiative, unless HM makes a unconditional apology to the nation, countrywide agitation should be made. For condemning the unsubstantiated frivolous allegation our partylines dont bother.
