Beltangady: Woman Delivers Twins in Ambulance

Beltangady, Jan 24: A woman on Wednesday January 23 morning gave birth to twins in 108 ambulance.

An ambulance was called after Pushpathi, wife of Vasanth Gowda from Kelanje gram received developed labor pains. Soon Ujire 108 ambulance team arrived at their house, but by the time she could be take to Kokkada hospital, Pushpavathi delivered twin male babies in the ambulance.

Mother and babies are said to be healthy. They were later admitted to Kokkada hospital.

Ambulance officials like technician S G Tharanath, driver Sridar, Indrakumar were on duty.
