Kundapur: Car overturns at Gangolli - 1 killed, 4 injured

Kundapur, Jan 27: One person was killed and four others injured when the car they were travelling in overturned near Arate bus stop in Gangolli police station limits here on Sunday January 27.

The deceased has been identified as Raghu (26), a resident of Sathanur of Kanakapura taluk. He was driving the Indica car.

Raghu along with four others was travelling from Byndoor to Kundapur. When they reached Arate bus stop on NH 66, Raghu lost control and the car overturned.

While Raghu was killed, Pramod, Ranga, Mudduraj and Shivakumar who were with him sustained injuries. All of them are said to be from Kanakapur.

The injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Kundapur.

The five had visited Murdeshwar and were on their way back to Kanakapura when the accident took place.

Gangolli police visited the spot.
