Mangalore, Jan 30: Diya Systems application development division has been appraised at Level 3 of the Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) as on January 2 2013 and which is valid for 3 years.
The appraisal was performed by SEI partner Cunix Infotech Mumbai who were partnered for providing consultation, training and conducting final assessment.
It is a proud and prestigious moment that Diya Systems, an award-winning technology services firm delivering technology services to business of all sizes around the globe, is now the first Mangalore based company to be assessed on CMMI L-3 and get listed in SEI portal.
CMMI is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance.
An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized, well understood, and standards, policies, procedures, tools, and methods are well defined. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established and improved over a period of time.
By this, Diya Systems joins elite club of CMMI assessed companies such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, IGate Patni, Accenture, etc.
