I think its time people stood up against corruption.Mr.Nasir has set a good example for the residents as well as people all over to follow.Hats off to him!Every indiviual in such responsible posts should do their work with dedication rather than making it an opportunity to grab money from innocent and unsuspecting people especially when the services are offered free of cost or on minimal cost by the government themselves. The attitude with which these officials demand money is similar to the way creditors demand repayments from default debtors. As if we owe them the money. The cuss words they use when you dont pay them are such that you will hate going to such offices even if you have every right to get your documents or recrds. Its good these men have been taught a lesson. They should not do such things again. Why cant they keep their jobs intact by being sincere? Why dont they understand that how shameful it will be for their families as well as their own reputation in the society if they get caught. Hats off to Lokayukta too for taking timely action. A big thanks to all the officials who did their jobs well in catching such corrupt officials.
