Mangalore: Maco cooperative society conducts bumper draw

Mangalore, Feb 2: As a part of sales promotion campaign, MACO cooperative society, an authorized dealer for HPC organized bumper draw at their petrol pump in Balmatta on Thursday January 31.

The bumper draw on purchase of fuel at the station was a value added service offered by MACO from November 1 till date as part of sales promotion campaign.

Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore diocese was the chief guest while Fr Swebert D’Silva, principal of St Aloysius College was the guest of honour.

SC Behra, senior regional manager, HPC :td; Louis  Pinto; Ratnakar Jain of Jain Travels, Sushil Noronha, Naveen Kumar MG, area sales manager, Cyril D’Souza, president of MACO, Michael Lobo, vice president, Dinesh, secretary shared the dais.

The lots were picked by Bishop along with other dignitaries. The first prize included a fridge. Many other consolation prizes were also given.

In his address, Bishop said that he was happy to be a part of this programme because of their immense services rendered to the society. They have helped people especially auto drivers and taxi drivers to live independently by granting loan to them. Along with this, the grant relief which they provide to the drivers when they face problem which is praiseworthy, he added.

The MACO management team is doing an excellent job, said Bishop wishing them to achieve greater heights.

Fr Swebert D’Silva in his address said the society has done a commendable job since its inception through various ways. He also asked people to take the society as a role model and live fruitful life by helping others.

The MACO society through its petrol pump franchise has not only provided customers with quality and quantitative service, but has also introduced value added service which is laudable, adding he said MACO ranks best in customer services. He also asked them to maintain the same rapport with the customer.

Cyril D’Souza welcomed the gathering, Anitha compered and Michael Lobo delivered the vote of thanks.
