Mangalore: Unidentified body found at Nehru Maidan, murder suspected

Mangalore, Feb 3: An unidentified male body was found at Nehru Maidan on Sunday February 3 morning.

Pandeshwar police on receiving information rushed to the spot and investigated. It is suspected that the man was murdered by someone as he had injuries on the left side of his head.

The identity of the person is yet to be ascertained.

Police sources said that the man might be from Kerala as they found a train ticket in his pocket (Kodikulam to Ullal). In addition, among the bundle of clothes he had, one shirt had 'KN Tailors, Kumble' printed in it.

The man is assumed to be around 35 to 40 years of age, clad in grey t-shirt and brown trousers.
